Shopfront Seminars
In 2008 Shopfront is holding 6 seminars for young artists looking to boost their skills in arts management, publicity & marketting and emerging technologies. The seminars go for a full day and are designed to enhance the skills of young and emerging artists through the practical workshops model.

Produce Yourself is a one day seminar packed with information you'll need to make a new work fly, including: How to set up a company, getting sponsorship, legal requirements, budgeting, juggling cast, creatives, crew & venue relationships
Iain is a producer of independent theatre and short films with a broad range of experience and skills in events and arts production. Between 1996 and 1999 Iain co-founded and developed CUT Theatre Company into a financially successful business and overall has produced 22 independent theatre productions. He was the General Manager and Producer of the Tamarama Rock Surfers at the Old Fitzroy Hotel Theatre from 1999 - 2002. Most recently he produced the highly acclaimed Hurlyburly (2005) and the Australian mainstage premiere of William Golding's Lord of the Flies (2006), both at the Stables Theatre, Sydney. He has produced several short films which have screened at festivals internationally and in Australia. In 2008 he received production funding from the NSW Film and TV Office to produce his next short film. Iain also consults to major corporations as a business consultant specialising in organisational psychology and workplace relations.
