● 2026 Season

A Harness Ensemble Production

Shopfront’s award-winning Harness Ensemble is comprised of emerging artists with and without disability - who wish to develop their practice in a collective space.

Let’s Try and Make It Happen

There is a place we visit before we die.
A motel room in Carlton. We all know this to be true.

Let’s Try and Make It Happen is part immersive installation, part encounter part ’This Is Your Life’, with host Mike Munro*. Don’t worry, you’ll be comfy, protected — and you can choose to keep your socks on.

That’s all you need to know.

*Mike will not be at select performances.

Shopfront’s award-winning Harness Ensemble is comprised of emerging artists with and without disability - who wish to develop their practice in a collective space. A space where they can be challenged, inspired and uplifted by each other.

Through 2025 the ensemble embarked on a series of masterclasses to develop their devising language collectively and individually. This production is a collaboration of these specific artists, if it were another group of artists in the room, it would be a very different work.
