Q Is For…Quack
In a smog-choked city, Benedict E. Quigley: Private Duck Detective waddles in—broke, burnt out, and on strike. What follows is a chaotic descent into a bureaucratic afterlife where nothing works, no one’s helpful, and Quigley’s detective skills are… questionable at best.
Blending handcrafted puppetry with scale models and collage, Marlow Lackner builds a world where gods are unreliable, demons are petty, and mysteries are rarely solved on purpose.
Developed through Shopfront’s Members Production program, the event offers behind-the-scenes workshops and showings-- sharing the creative process and challenges of building this richly strange world.

Shopfront is an accessible venue with lift access to all levels, a designated quiet space and accessible bathroom. Sensory equipment and visual stories are available on request.
Each season includes an Auslan interpreted performance and relaxed performance.
